London SNP Branch meetings are a great opportunity to meet other members and get involved in the Scottish independence movement. The meetings are a place of informative discussion and lively debate. Over the past five years we have had speakers on topics as diverse as Scotland’s future political relationship with China, social determinants of Public Health, and the Sustainable Growth Commission.
Prominent speakers from the political sphere have included Dr Philippa Whitford MP, Alyn Smith MP, Andrew Wilson, and Alison Thewliss MP. Several well-known journalists have been our guest including Owen Jones, Paul Mason, Ian Dunt, and Stephen Bush. Respected academics such as Sir Michael Marmot, Dr Allyson Pollock, and Professor Tanja Bueltmann have all presented fascinating and enlightening talks on their areas of expertise.
Please join us at future meetings and add your voice to the debate surrounding Scottish independence.
